The mission of Clayton Library Friends is to enrich the resources and facilities of Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research. If you are interested in giving back, CLF has several ways to contribute or participate in pursuit of that mission.
MembershipMembership dues and donations are the lifeline that Clayton Library Friends uses to help keep the Clayton Library rated among the top genealogy libraries in the nation. Using membership dues and donations, CLF purchased a multitude of books and technology in 2019 and 2020. They also funded staff development for the librarians. | VolunteerVolunteers are always needed to support the various services offered at the Clayton Library. Opportunities range from short-term to long-term projects, from working at the library, on a scheduled shift to working on an "as needed" basis, and from working with the public to working "behind the scenes. In other words, there is something for everyone! |
