The mission of Clayton Library Friends is to enrich the resources and facilities of Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research. If you are interested in giving back, CLF has several ways to contribute or participate in pursuit of that mission.
Membership dues and donations are the life-line that Clayton Library Friends uses to help keep the Clayton Library rated among the top genealogy libraries in the nation. Using membership dues and donations, the CLF Acquisitions Committee purchased 912 books for the library in 2016. Join the Clayton Library Friends |
Volunteers are always needed to support the various services offered at the Clayton Library. Opportunities range from short-term to long-term projects, from working on a scheduled shift to working on an “as needed” basis, and from working with the public to working “behind the scenes”. In other words, there is something for everyone! |
Donations can take many forms at CLF.
Monetary Gifts Gifts to CLF, over and above the membership fee, are always welcomed, and greatly appreciated. Donors are recognized annually in our newsletter. Endowment Clayton Library Friends also accepts donations to the CLF Endowment and CLF General Funds. Through conservative investment, CLF seeks to achieve a steady source of revenue that will benefit the library for years to come. The Angels Program You can earn your “wings” by donating for one or more of the following periodicals requested by Clayton Library. Non-specific donations are always welcome. All donations to the Angel Program will be acknowledged in the CLF newsletter, unless otherwise requested. Memorial donations will be acknowledged upon request. |
