Special Event:  Genealogy Day

This is the Clayton Library annual program in conjunction with the Genealogy Network of Texas and the Waco-McClennan County Public Library that has gone by the name of Genealogy Lock-in, and Genealogy After Dark.

This year it's called Genealogy Day and we are excited to offer a full day of lectures from expert speakers as we join in with hundreds of other researchers across Texas to celebrate Family History/Genealogy Month.

Attached you'll find a copy of the agenda for the day along with the topics. While it's possible to register and view the presentations live thru TEAMS there are some added benefits to coming in person.

  • The Clayton Library Friends will be hosting light refreshments around noontime in the Carriage House. You may also bring your own lunch.
  • Donated-Duplicate Book Sale will be open throughout this special event.
  • We will be having a few door prizes to give away to participants who come in person.
  • Additionally, we will have staff members in each session that will be able to note any questions you have for the presenters that we forward on for a response.
  • And lastly but certainly not least coming into Clayton allows you to do some research between sessions.

Please forward this information and encourage others to register and participate with us on Friday, October 18th.

See the attached Gen-Day agenda.
