Clayton Library Friends General Meeting

This general meeting will be held via Zoom online meeting. A brief business meeting will be followed by our guest speaker.

Program Title: "An Overview of the African American Library at the Gregory School"

Our guest speaker, Sheena Wilson, will present an overview of the collection and services of The African American Library at the Gregory School with a special emphasis on those resources that might be of value for researching family history.

Sheena Wilson is the Assistant Manager/Lead Archivist at The African American Library at the Gregory School, Houston, Texas. She has served with Houston Public Library since August 2017 with prior service at the Fort Bend County Library. She is highly knowledgeable about Houston, Texas, as well as African American history. Her specialties include Archives, Arrangement and Description, Digitization, Outreach, Content Management, Donor Relations, African American History, Houston History, and Management.

Registration is required. You do not need to be a member to attend the meeting.
