Freedmen’s Bureau Experience
Experience the Freedmen's Bureau records during this interactive, hands-on two hour workshop with guest speaker Shamele Jordan. Learn tools and strategies, interact in state breakouts, and deepen your research to find the enslaved. Registration is limited for this workshop and will close on 15 February 2021.
Upon submitting your request to attend this workshop, Shamele Jordan will contact you via email directly. There are required pre, during and post workshop activities.
Participants must also register for and attend Navigating Freedmen’s Bureau Records – Strategies for Research Success at 10 AM.
