This intermediate-level presentation assumes the attendee has a basic understanding of court terminology and manual search approaches. Presentation will discuss, through use of several examples, analysis and interpretation of loose court papers including depositions, subpoenas, orders, etc. Use of court records to expand the knowledge of the family-kin network, writing up a summary of the court action, and using the information in a court case to develop additional problem-solving strategies will be discussed.
