Join Clayton Library staff member Franklin Smith for an introduction to DNA genealogy research. This session is for beginners who have yet to test and or have tested but are not sure what to do next. Topics will include why to take a DNA test, the types of DNA tests and where to test, the differences between test providers, basic terminology and suggestions on how to interpret matches. Autosomal DNA will be the focus of this presentation with brief discussions of Y and Mitochondrial DNA. This presentation is intended for beginners, but all experience levels are welcome.
